SAT

SAT is originally called the Scholastic Aptitude Test later on which is also called the Scholastic Assessment Test is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States.
A private, non-profit organization the College Board by the Educational Testing Service created SAT. Most of colleges and universities take entrance exam as SAT to make admissions decisions and the main goal is to provide colleges with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants. But SAT is only one of the factors in the admissions decision as Colleges and Universities also consider high school GPA, academic transcript, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, interviews, and personal essays. The weight placed on SAT scores in admissions varies from school to school. And every year in August, October, November, December, March, May and June SAT exam is offered nationally.

SAT REASONING TEST

The total duration of the SAT Reasoning Test is 3 hours and 45 minutes long which measures skills in three areas: critical reading, math, and writing and test takers are also required to write a 25 minute essay. The total score will be from 200 – 800 for each section with two writing sub scores for multiple- choice questions and the essay. It determines the way they use their skills and knowledge to gain the academic success. 

SAT SUBJECT TEST

The total duration of the SAT Subject Tests is 1 hour. SAT Subject Test measures the ability to apply the knowledge in particular field. The SAT Subject Tests is used for admission, course placement and to advice students about course selection.
